Accomodation
For those wishing to stay at the
University Residence Hall, accommodation is provided at the
extra cost of 95€ for the whole week (from July 14 to July
21). Each participant will have a fully equipped private room,
with shower and WC. The Residence Hall is close to the
university, and is a short 5-minute walk from the location of
the Summer School activities. It is also a 10 minute walk or
5-minute car/bus ride to the city center.
We consider this
to be the best option, as it allows participants to be together
through the duration of the summer school. The Residence Hall
has working rooms, allowing teamwork and social gatherings after
classes. However, those that do not require accommodation or
wish to book by themselves can do so. There is plenty of
accommodation available in Guimarães, and close to the
University. All arrangements for those not staying at the
Residence Hall need to be made by the participants themselves.

The closest airport to the city
of Guimarães is the Sá Carneiro Airport in Oporto,
about 50 km away.
